In 2026 the association is actively involved in the following codes and standards work:
1. the Provincial (BCBC) Lateral Loads Part 9 Task Group
2. the National (NBC) Lateral Loads Part 9 Task Group
3. CSA A140 Technical Committee for the new edition of CSA A277 (open and closed panels)
